Praise and worship leader for over 10 years, I write lyrics, record music and sing. I have a heart and passion to reach those looking for hope in a world that only provides temporary relief. You can listen to my music on SoundCloud (Joel the Messenger), watch my videos on Vimeo (Platoon Media Houston), and follow me on Tumblr and Twitter (JoelPlatoon). I run an internet marketing business and can help promote any event I am involved with while providing insight on how to expose it to a larger audience. I am blessed with unique abilities that should be shared with others and I strive to do so on a daily basis.

April 18, 2016When we were looking for someone to perform at our city outreach he was highly recommended to use by several people in the community. He has a message through music that reaches out to all ages. We had kids and adults all with positive feedback on his performance. Will definitely be looking forward to seeing him again !

April 15, 2016Joel was absolutely great. My husband and I had never seen him before. Joel the Messenger had already stood out. When I seen him come up to the stage I did not know what to expect. His performance was outstanding and his love for Jesus. Hope to book him one day.

I don't have a problem interacting and talking with a crowd. High energy, fun and a free spirit who delivers a positive message with vocals to back it up. Go to Vimeo and search "jg project houston" to see my videos.
Google search "Joel Green Houston TX" and you'll find my twitter account for JoelPlatoon and my Facebook account. If you search SoundCloud just search for "Joel the Messenger" and you'll see my Praise Mix Vol. 1 that is being updated weekly. I run my own business and can be available to talk at any time about your event. 20 years of experience speaking and singing in front of audiences ranging from 500 to 5000 for indoor/outdoor events. Originally from San Diego, lived in Charleston South Carolina and now live in Houston.
Just provide me with a sound system and a way to play back tracks (instrumentals) and that's all I need.
This can be customized to fit your events needs.
