Performed on the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as one of the best up and comers in Canada, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival (nationally televised on CBC), SiriusXM satellite radio, and multiple CBC The Debaters. Recently was in the writer's room of the hit TV series Kim's Convenience.
Joe is adept at both clean and dirty material as well as material from the south east Asian voice if needed. Absurd, intelligent, and insightful, his routine is at once both entertaining and educational. Joe did a birthday show for my wife and it was awesome!!! Everyone had a great laugh during lockdown. I wouldn't hesitate to have Joe do another entertainment next time!!

December 7, 2020Comedy Show for Virtual Holiday Party
We hired Craig Fay and Joe Vu for our virtual company holiday party. They were both really funny and great to work with. Craig kicked off the show and Joe was our main headliner. I was a little nervous that it would be difficult to have a virtual comedy show, but everything went really smoothly. Craig and Joe kept people laughing from start to finish and I appreciated their level of enthusiasm. It can't be easy performing to an audience over zoom! I just wanted to say a big thank you to both Craig and Joe. They were awesome and I would recommend them for future comedy show bookings.

Joe Vu, Leonard Chan, and Tracy Hamilton performed at our company's recent Christmas party. Everyone loved the show! They were engaging, funny, and even took the time to make a few inside jokes and bits related to the company or team members. They were an absolute hit with everyone, and I received emails from staff for days, raving about the show...and they even brought their own stage with them!

After winning awards in advertising for a Superbowl commercial and a Ted Talks 10 Global Ads worth sharing, Joe Vu abandoned his lucrative career in advertising to be totally disowned by his Asian parents.
Since then he's been on national television, performing for The Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs 42 as well as the radio, CBC The Debaters.
Joe is able to perform both clean and dirty material as well as material from the perspective of the under represented south east Asian voice if needed. Absurd, intelligent, and insightful, his routine is at once both entertaining and educational.
