In her formative years, Jody engaged in various forms of dance and eventually danced at the University of Washington before finding circus arts in 2011. Jody has experience in almost every aerial apparatus, and specializes in both solo, duo and trio work, providing everything from ambient entertainment to champagne pouring and specialty acts and variety shows. Jody has performed with Cirque du Soleil at Sea with her duo hoop partner (2020), in Italy's Got Talent with her trio act Slingosel (2021), and won an award from Krystallpalast Variety Theatre in Leipzig Germany for her duo hoop work (2017). Jody also placed 2nd in Viva Fest with her solo hoop routine in 2019. Jody has been performing locally at the Pink Door restaurant (since 2017) - feel free to come dine and see in her in person! Minimum Height for aerial is typically 14', however, Jody has vetted many venues in the Seattle area and is aware of which entities have established rigging. Rigging needs to be done professionally and securely to ensure safety of performer and guests. Although it is great if the venue has lighting and sound established, Jody has the capacity to provide these items to supplement the performance otherwise. Jody carries performers insurance, a MAST certificate for handling alcohol, and has a vast network of subcontractors that could help assist in making the event come to life
