Overview

We are a three piece bluegrass band that does everything from your standards (Flatt & Scruggs, Country Gentleman, JD Crowe, to modern favorites by Bela Fleck, as well as popular tunes by groups such as The Beatles. The trio consists of Banjo+Upright Bass+Fiddle.

Price range: $700 and up

Gig length: 30 - 180 minutes

What to expect

The two things we are hired to play the most are refined Appalachian String Music and popular music like the Great American Songbook. As multi-instrumentalists, we can switch off between the Cello/Mandolin and the Banjo/Guitar depending on the needs and mood you have in mind.
If needed, we provide our own sound system.

About

Jody Hughes (banjo/guitar)-The highlights of Jody's career include performing onstage at Carnegie Hall, The Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium. He has played for artists such as Jim Lauderdale and Randy Kohrs.

Additional booking notes

We require very little as we are a duo. However, we must have ample space for the cellist to use the bow.
We will also not perform​ in direct sunlight or extreme weather conditions.
