I hired Jodie for the Save Venice Event this year at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She not only put on a great show in impersonating Marylin but she also went beyond with her professionalism. Jodi is beautiful. She is incredibly talented, professional, on time, and all the guests loved her. There was a snafu with our microphone and the background music (the party host fault!) and Jodi ad libbed and made what could have been an uncomfortable moment completely upbeat and entertained the group until the music problem was solved. She went above and beyond and everyone loved her so much that she is returning to our main benefit next month! She looks just like Marilyn, has a beautiful voice and she is such a genuinely sweet person.
Jodi is certainly a professional. She kept her character of Marilyn for five hours in front of my clients. I have heard nothing but rave reviews! Her show was incredible, with wonderful singing and audience participation. She was very accommodating and did a great job of improvising to "sell" the event at an afternoon meeting. Jodi Fleisher is officially approved by the estate of Marilyn Monroe as a professional Marilyn Monroe Impersonator. For over 6 years she performed regularly at Universal Studios Hollywood, at special appearances for NBC /Universal and countless events beyond.
A trained actress, singer and dancer with a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Arizona, she was often compared to Marilyn Monroe for her seductive and graceful singing styles of the old standards. Moving to Los Angeles in 1999, she studied Marilyn Monroe for acting class, and learned all there was to know about the famous icon. At 5'5" with measurements of 36-26-36, Jodi quickly was hired as an official Marilyn Monroe at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Jodi has done hundreds of corporate events and private parties. Her wigs and costumes are such high caliber, you’ll swear she’s the real thing! I am not a DJ. I do require a sound system and microphone in order to sing or perform my show. Though, it is not required for a very small space if I am just singing "Happy Birthday" which is accapella. For gigs out of L.A., I prefer a dressing room to get ready in and a meal before the event.
