May 5, 2026Joan made all of my dreams come true by being a part of my wedding ceremony! She is extremely talented and I couldn’t imagine my wedding ceremony without her. I would love to have her play at another event/celebration in the future (one that isn’t as crazy as a wedding day can be!) so I can be fully immersed in the experience.

June 15, 2025I could not have asked for better entertainment at my celebration than what Joan provided. Although I was met with some skepticism when I announced I had hired a harpist for the evening, Joan proved to be the perfect answer! Everyone, at my all-women’s gathering, thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere she created allowing my guests to relax and chat comfortably. As a wonderfully skilled musician, she played a huge selection of music from an array of genres. In short, it was perfect!!! Thank you, Joan, for making my special evening even more memorable.

Joan Steinberg has been playing the harp for 25+ years for weddings, special events, corporate events and private parties.
Joan studied with Harpist Marilyn Costello at Temple University College of Music where she earned a Bachelor's degree in performance.
A gifted musician, she not only sounds wonderful and reads quickly but also can play practically anything you can hum by ear!
Joan lives in Northeast Philadelphia
with her husband, an organist, and her son who is also studying the organ; all in all a talented family!
She performs as a soloist or with other musicians: a flutist, a violinist, a cellist or all three!
