Jimmy Nash - Singing Guitarist
Overview
I like to sing the songs that make you happy :) Pop, Country, Classics, Margaritaville, Standards - whatever fits your event and sets the mood, I'm there to make it happen. From Strait to Sinatra, Bennett to the Beatles, Sheeran to Stapleton and everything in between. I play with acoustic guitar, but also play with tracks for anything from the Great American Songbook to Pop Dance anthems to get everyone out on the floor. Need Christmas music for your Holiday party? I've got that covered!

What to expect
My job is to help everyone have a great time, and for the host/planner to know from the time I am booked that the music is taken care of. What this means to me:
•I show up at least an hour early, in plenty of time to setup.
•I prepare a set list that fits the event (Country, Pop, Oldies, Margaritaville, or a broad mix).
•I coordinate ahead of time for every detail, so that minimal questions need to be asked of the host/planner on the day of.
•When requested, especially for a wedding, anniversary or bday party, I do my best to learn as many special requests as possible.
•My gear is in good working order, and I keep my performance area as tidy and organized as possible, storing all equipment cases away from public view.
•If I am meant to be background music, I keep it low key. If I am meant to be in the middle of the party, taking live requests, and getting everyone on the dance floor, then I turn it up.
•I take minimal breaks, because I actually like to perform. For 2 hours or less, I generally take no breaks. For 3 hours, 1 break. At 4 hours, I do have to look out for my voice, so I take 3 breaks. I add one more break per hour after that.
Anything I didn't cover? Reach out, and let's talk about what we can do together!
About
Native Nashvillian, Jimmy Nash, the son of two Grammy-winning songwriters, was immersed in songwriting from an early age. After being signed to a management deal by Andra Dalto (Hank III), Nash relocated to L.A.
Nash’s debut album, “The Road to 33,” blended Country, Rock, & Pop. It was produced by Todd Hannigan (Jack Johnson), & picked as “New & Noteworthy” by iTunes.
Working in multiple genres, Nash has received TV placements, most recently on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” with the song, “We Are Made Of Stars.”
Aside from his own releases, Nash loves writing with other rising artists. His latest work with sister duo, American Blonde, has received multiple features on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds Country” & “New Music Nashville,” with the song, “Quicksand,” breaking into the top 40 on the Billboard Indicator Charts.
Nash’s latest release, “Kansas,” is available now.
He also produced a new EP on his father, Bill Nash, entitled, “Oh, Hank.” The EP celebrates the musical legacy & artistic style of Hank Williams, as well as Bill’s 70+ years in music.
Currently living in St Pete, FL, when not busy writing or singing, Nash loves to surf, golf, learn new languages, and help his family’s charity, Champions Kids Camp.
