Jime & Aaron

Whenever Jime & Aaron are performing, a very intimate and intense connection starts between them and the audience. Attracted by the surprise factor of the unique combination of different rhythms and languages, the crowd is definitely interested in checking out what is happening on stage. The warmth of the South American lead singer makes a fun and intimate show for everyone.

Through the changing setlist, going from very fast songs to very mellow, deep melodies, the public shares the same emotions the artists feel when they play these songs. It is a very unique duo, with many different surprises for the audience.

Jime is a Paraguayan artist with 8 years of experience, having played in South America, Europe and the United States. She plays the piano, the guitar, the ukulele, sings and write songs in three languages (English, Spanish and French). Besides these three languages, she also sings in German, Italian, Portuguese, and Guarani. In her native Paraguay, she had a lot of media exposure for the past years. This includes participation in Radio and TV shows, articles and interviews in important newspapers and so forth.

As part of being a full time artist, in 2007 she opened for Julio Iglesias in the Central Bank in Asuncion, Paraguay. The following year she played a solo concert at the Sentier des Halles in Paris, as well as giving concerts in Barcelona Spain. In 2009, she was invited to played at the famous Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Uruguay representing Paraguay with her own songs.

2011 was the year when she decided to move to the United States of America to pursue her musical career, looking for a manager to take her career to another level. It was an exciting new beginning, to come to a new country and share her music!

Aaron is a native of Kansas and Music Education graduate of Emporia State University. He has been playing music professionally for the past 15 years. His bass playing is highly regarded by everyone he has performed with. He has played most types of music, including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Classical, Latin, and Country. He also performs for the United States Army on trumpet and bass. When not performing, Aaron also composes and arranges songs.

Aaron has performed in multiple cities around the United States, including Kansas City, Chicago, New Orleans, Seattle, St. Louis, and Denver. He has also performed in Toronto, Canada at the International Association of Jazz Educators National Conference.

In 2011 Aaron teamed up with Jime to form Jime & Aaron and brings his unique style of playing the electric and acoustic bass to the acoustic duo.
