Jim McGuirt is an exceptional entertainer with over 50 years of experience. Jim performs the oldies music that you grew up with. He plays a Gibson ES335 guitar and utilizes a PA system along with a computer drum machine and vocal harmonizer which adds to his vocal sound. He also uses a device that lets him perform the bass while playing the guitar at the same time. Jim uses his years of experience with many national oldies acts to entertain and please any group.

I perform the music that you grew up with. My song list includes oldies rock & roll, country, swing, rockabilly, standards, mo-town, blues, reggae and variety. The music will take you back in time and enjoy the good old times with the great music of that time.
Jim was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. He has been performing the oldies for 50 years. In 1959 he formed The Satellites, Florida’s premier oldies band. The Satellites received national Billboard attention in 1960 with their 45RPM recording “Moody”. In the later years Jim performed with his band The Satellites . opening shows and backing up national oldies acts: The Drifters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, The Tokens, Frankie Ford, Ray Peterson, Bobby Lewis, Little Anthony & The Imperials, The Platters and more as well as conventions and trade shows. Jim has also performed in Las Vegas.
Jim performs with his guitar/vocals, drum machine. Jim interacts with the audience and can please just about any age group. He plays the songs you grew up with: oldies, rock & roll, classic rock, country, swing, rockabilly, blues, standards, latin and variety. Jim now resides in Tampa, Fl. and is available to perform for your next activity or event.
