Jezebel Express

Jezebel's burlesque acts last 3-5 minutes, and generally consists of one song (or more, combined into a single audio track). Jezebel will enter the performance area and perform a striptease act, peeling off layers of costume. She generally finishes the act clothed only in pasties and a g-string or underwear, but the level of nudity can be modified to fit your needs. During her act, she can do a little direct interaction with the audience, teasing individual members of the audience. She can also return to the party to pose for photos with audience members, after a minute in the dressing room to put some of her costume back on.

Jezebel can also teach burlesque classes in 30, 60 or 90 minute lengths. During these classes, participants will be introduced to the basics of bump & grind, learn tips and tricks for creating a sexy burlesque vibe, and Jezebel will teach them a short burlesque dance combination.

Meet Miss Jezebel!

Miss Jezebel Express has been performing and teaching burlesque for over a decade. In addition to having competed for the title of Miss Exotic World in Las Vegas, she has performed at festivals all over North America (including Alaska and Hawaii!). Major appearances include The New York Burlesque Festival, The Toronto Burlesque Festival, Tease-O-Rama, and more. She is a regular performer at New York's famed Slipper Room.

Jezebel is a core faculty instructor at the New York School Of Burlesque, one of the oldest burlesque schools in North America. Jezebel holds a BFA in Dance Choreography, and is known best for her fan dancing classes and accessible choreography instruction.

Jezebel is fortunate enough to have received instructions from a variety of burlesque legends, including Tura Satana, Satan's Angel, April Carter, Marinka, and Holiday O'Hara.

She has also served on the Programming Committee at North America's largest teaching conference for burlesque, Burlycon, and was Dance Captain for the (successful!) Guinness Book of World Record's Largest Fan Dance attempt, during which 252 dancers performed a choreographed fan dance in unison.

Jezebel has been awarded grants for her artistic work by the US Fulbright Association, Newfoundland Arts Council, The University of Iowa and the State of Iowa, but she still thinks her best work is evident in the smiles & shimmies of her genius students.
