Jessica James was born in Brooklyn, New York and in 1998, she moved to Costa Rica with her parents. Music has always been her fuel to keep her pursuing her purpose and an outlet to tell her story. It's always been embedded in her since inception. She was raised by musically talented parents; it did not take the singer very long to realize she had a deep passion for music. Jessica started singing at the age of three at her home church, and by the age of seven, she wrote her first song. She is a Pop Singer making a rapid rise to success with her edgy style, fashion, harmonies and melodic music. Jessica has become well known for her singing and fashion statements. She has traveled the country to perform at diverse concerts, weddings, conferences, and other major events. Recently, Jessica opened for major artists like Tank, Lyfe Jennings among others we've admired for decades. She has also been one of the main acts for one of the largest events in the upstate; the Jaramillo Latin Dance Annual Gala and the Annual Cinco De Mayo Festival in downtown Spartanburg, SC. Today, Jessica’s hit singles "I Wonder", "Champion", and "Love Support" have gained success within diverse media outlets and been nominated for the Upstate Music Awards (UMA) . Jessica continues to utilize her talents to be a blessing to others and motivate people to believe in themselves no matter the challenges they may be facing. She believes it is so important to own your identity and live in your truth, embracing your authenticity and taking chances.
