I'm a guitarist and singer with over 25 years of experience performing in a variety of contexts. I can play and sing many styles from folk, americana, and singer-songwriter, to top 40 pop songs, to jazz ballads and classics. My voice is my best musical asset and it will be a wonderful addition to your event.

If you hire me you can expect me to be on time and fully prepared. I bring all my own professional gear and can be as "front and center" or "background" as you like. I'm happy to engage with your guests, or just perform my songs and keep to myself.

I've been singing since before I can remember and playing guitar just a little after that. I grew up doing two parallel tracks of music: leading music in church and playing in rock and roll bands. In high school I got in to vocal jazz and then in college I majored in classical guitar, while also studying jazz, bluegrass, and choral music and conducting. In graduate school I studied church music. But that entire time I continued to play in bands, write and perform as a singer song-writer, and gig as cover artist.
The last 5 years I've been playing in a local 90's alternative cover band called Brother Watts. This year (2024) I recorded and released an album of my own spiritual songs called Firstfruits.
My voice is my best musical asset. I can perform lots of different styles, but I'm at my best when I'm crooning. I love to play jazzy ballads, folk songs, and pop tunes with good melodies.
I don't need much. Give me a power outlet to plug in to and I will handle the rest.
