When I take out my typewriter to write a poem for someone, magic happens: people suddenly begin to tell me their dreams, their deepest desires, memories, challenges, hopes, and fantasies. In a few minutes we engage in an intimate and profound exchange, sparking an unforgettable experience. In everyone’s heart is a longing to reveal the poetry of their everyday life and that is exactly what a poet can help to bring forward. I believe words have power and that poetry is a mysterious path of alchemy that turns moments of joy and sorrow into art.

May 14, 2026I hired Jennifer for an outdoor Birthday celebration i was planning, and I'm soo glad i did!
Jennifer came in with a huge smile and was instantly welcoming to our guests, who would sit with her as she asked a few questions. Then, Jennifer began to write beautiful and personable poetry on the spot! She's amazing!! Before long, there was line to sit with her because everyone wanted to try it out.
She also had the cutest vintage typewriter that our guests mentioned they really enjoyed.
Before she left, Jennifer wrote a poem for me that was soo beautiful, it made me tear up.
