Fun and Professional!

Tom had great communication pre event day. Even getting a feel about our group and the setting in which he would be performing. He showed up right on time to set up and was ready to perform a little earlier than anticipated. He joked around with our group (family reunion) and made it more than just a show but an interactive experience. Thank you Tom!

About

Tom Collett’s passion for performing magic started when he was five years old. By the time he was eight he was already producing his own magic show - in his mom’s garage. Tickets were 10 cents. Popcorn was extra.
This passion persisted through his teens and into adulthood. Along the way, he studied under grandmaster magicians such as Jay Scott Berry.
Now, nearly a half century later Tom has received numerous awards for his creative, intellectually elegant magic. He has won competitions in strolling, close-up and stage magic. In 2016, he was named “Magician of the Year” by San Jose’s chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Setup requirements

I pride myself on being easy to work with and adaptable to almost any venue.

For strolling magic: No setup is required. I simply need access to drinking water, the event and your guests.

For stand-up shows: An 8' x 8' performance area and audience seating facing the show are ideal. For larger audiences, a microphone and sound system may be helpful.

For outdoor events, the performance area should be shaded or protected from rain and excessive wind.

If you're unsure whether your venue is a good fit, just ask—I've performed everywhere from living rooms and backyards to banquet halls, trade show floors, and corporate conference centers.
