Jenn Rykert

Currently it is a two piece acoustic set with lead vocal, acoustic guitar, keys and drums. Generally only do original songs, not cover songs. Jenn is great with connecting with the audience. She sings about real life issues that many can relate with.

Jenn Rykert is a singer/songwriter and musician. Her music has been described as "the new sound of rock 'n' roll", with southern roots, rock/garage/alt/pop influences, edgy vocals and loaded lyrics. Her songwriting style is vulnerable, magnetic, dark & fun... and always with a knock-out punch. Her favorite description of herself is "a rainbow of pissed".

I have years of experience singing and playing on stage, playing acoustically (guitar or piano) and with a full band (my favorite). I have hundreds of local fans and thousands of online followers, with numbers growing daily. My 1st EP is set to release in summer 2013, with anticipation of recording a full album at the end of 2013, or beginning of 2014. I have written over 50 songs in the last year, and have co-written 100's of songs in multiple genre's, also within the last year. My website and social media will be integrated and live when my EP releases. (For example, as of today, I have 7,000 followers on Instagram). I am wanting to tour tour tour! I would love to be an opener, learn everything I can from seasoned touring artists and then headline! I am currently gigging at least once a week!

We currently do not require lighting or any other special services for the performance.
We have our own instruments but not sound system. We can play a small venues with small spaces because it is just a two peice set.
