Piano performer and also music composer for instrumental classical, cinematic, or modern rock and pop.
Piano: I play be ear and memory as well as lead sheets, which makes the music more expressive and thought-provoking. I can accept some requests. Contemporary songs, but also original compositions in the classic style of George Winston. Calming, peaceful background music for elegant dinners.
Composer: I also create and record original orchestral/instrumental pieces of many genres great for commercials, movies, tv shows, or corporate events. Pre-recorded music is available and is currently streaming on music platforms. Will also write a song just for you.

Gig length: 30 - 120 minutes
If I were at your event, you would get beautiful, soothing piano music (along with some upbeat songs). I don't sing and I don't tell jokes. I don't even need a microphone. I'll play for 30 minutes or an hour or two!
I have worked in restaurants and hotel lounges as a solo pianist - a gig on the side of my main career as a school teacher. Music by ear and not by reading notes is mostly my style, although I am familiar and trained in basic musical notation. I have a long memory of many songs in my musical portfolio in the 50 years as playing since childhood. I also compose and record orchestral/instrumental music of various genres using Logic Pro, and my music is available on most music platforms.
Requires available piano (no mic needed) or electric keyboard with sound system.
I do not take requests for songs to play only the set gig (see my list of some of the songs I play)
