Piano: I play be ear and memory, which makes the music more expressive and thought-provoking. I can't really accept song requests for that reason. But I'll try! Contemporary songs, but also original compositions in the classic style of George Winston. Calming, peaceful background music for elegant dinners.
Composer: I also create and record original orchestral/instrumental pieces of many genres great for commercials, movies, tv shows, or corporate events. Pre-recorded music is available and is currently streaming on music platforms. Will also write a song just for you.

If I were at your event, you would get beautiful, soothing piano music (along with some upbeat songs). I don't sing and I don't tell jokes. I don't even need a microphone. I'll play for 30 minutes or an hour or two!
I have worked in restaurants and hotel lounges as a solo pianist - a gig on the side of my main career as a school teacher. Music by ear and not by reading notes is mostly my style, although I am familiar and trained in basic musical notation. I have a long memory of many songs in my musical portfolio in the 50 years as playing since childhood. I also compose and record orchestral/instrumental music of various genres using Logic Pro, and my music is available on most music platforms.
