July 23, 2014We booked Jem to perform at our studio launch party. From the setup up to the performance, Jem was not only entertaining but also easy to contact and reliable. She came with all of her own equipment which she tested the day before the party. All we had to do was provide her with enough space to perform. Her angelic aerial performances wowed our party guests! Jem also exceeded our expectations by including an exclusive fire hoop dance performance. Basically we know who we're calling if we need amazing entertainment!

Expect to be amazed and impressed by 2-3 performance acts. Each show can be 3 different apparatus including silk,hammock, aerial net, and lyra (aerial hoop). Each artistic act will be choreographed to music or ambient performance to live music is also available. There will always be stunning costume, exquisite make-up, and friendly professional aerialists. I also offer fire dancing with hula hoop and fire fans or LED hoop dancing. This will have your guests cheering, posting photos, and thrilled they experienced the event.
Jem Wyman started aerial training at Circus Center in San Francisco which lead to dedicating her life to aerial arts. She is a passionate performer and specializes in aerial fabric and fire dancing. As an aerial dancer, yoga teacher, and performance artist she leads workshops and ongoing classes in Southern California.
Jem has been performing for 12 years in the USA and beyond. Her aerial experience is an evolving, loving, and empowering relationship with the flow of silk fabric. Her aerial style is infused with creative expression, joyful essence, graceful movement, and balanced musical movement in the air. Jem is highly skilled in creating versatile characters, movement qualities, and costuming that is perfect for any audience.
Jem has a crew of dance performers/entertainment she works with including stilt walkers, character dancers, magicians, contortionists, hula hoopers, silk fan dancers, DJs or live musicians, and more. Share your dream event and she will help you create it.

Jem can provide basic rigging and equipment, but requires that you ensure the safety and capability of the location for aerial rigging.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 14 ft ceilings (ideally 20ft ceilings height)
- A structural/load-bearing anchor point such as an open beam, truss, or attached hardware, capable of supporting a 5,000 lbs
For locations that are new to aerial rigging, a site visit in advance of the event is essential.
for outdoor events, a portable stand-alone aerial rig for an additional cost is available.
