I'm Jeremy Sherman, Ph.D. a social science professor and a bassist/vocalist on the side. I organize bands for gigs at a few local restaurants, playing three times a week (which makes it easy to audition us), and I play with over a 50 musicians, so through me you have a wide range to choose from. We play everything from jazz standards to smooth jazz, funk, Latin, rock, folk, New Orleans, to Nigerian (pictured above with Rasaki Aloudokun, who toured with Stevie Wonder and played lead talking drum on 35 King Sunny Ade albums, and Soji Adukogbe, who toured with Fela Kuti for five years)
