Music was terrific. Perfect for our event - and it was a difficult space in which to perform. Prompt arrival, and all band members polite and professional.

July 8, 2013Awesome/Fun Band!
Working with Jazz You Like It was extremely easy. The band was attentive to the audience and the perfect sound for the attendees to groove to. I will be sure to hire them again as soon as I get the opportunity.

Top notch all the way.... Easy to manage and great crowd response. Played to the crowd with both song titles and volume level. One of the nicest performer we have encountered in our six years of business! Highly recommended.

About
I'm Jeremy Sherman, Ph.D. a social science professor and a bassist/vocalist on the side. I organize bands for gigs at a few local restaurants, playing three times a week (which makes it easy to audition us), and I play with over a 50 musicians, so through me you have a wide range to choose from. We play everything from jazz standards to smooth jazz, funk, Latin, rock, folk, New Orleans, to Nigerian (pictured above with Rasaki Aloudokun, who toured with Stevie Wonder and played lead talking drum on 35 King Sunny Ade albums, and Soji Adukogbe, who toured with Fela Kuti for five years)
What this means for you is that through me you can tailor a band to your heart's content, and do so at a low price. Get in touch!
Here's a sampler of our main trio, playing restaurants 3X/week in Berkeley, just snippets here from a whole set. (link hidden)
