We are a jazz group offering a variety of styles including Blues,Swing, Latin, Soul, R& B, Funk and Pop. We perform instrumentally or with a vocalist. We can play classical for ceremonies, jazz for cocktail and dinner hours.

Our country club booked the trio for our Valentine's Day dinner and the membership loved it. They were the perfect addition to our event. Hope to have you all back in the future!

July 3, 2024City Lights Band helped us put on a fantastic wedding!
We hired the City Lights Band to play for a couple of hours as a trio for our dinner, and then later as a dance band with the addition of a singer and a guitarist. It was great working with them to plan the event, and we absolutely loved the music!
The jazz trio was great, we enjoyed the standards very much and at the urging of some friends I even got to sit in for a couple of tunes (I play guitar) which was super fun.
We and our guests absolutely *loved* the dance band. Most of the tunes were older 50s - 70s, which my friends all love and so did our parents, aunts and uncles etc. It was one of the most fun nights I've had, and the City Lights Band music was a big part of that!

Jazz On The Vine is the Bay Area's most versatile music ensemble. By combining the talents of some of the finest vocalists and multi-instrumentalists in the area, Jazz On The Vine is able to excel at a variety of musical styles including Motown, Rock, Pop, Top-40, Swing, Jazz, Latin and Classical.

5. Quartet: Drums, bass, sax/flute, keyboards or guitar

Since the group has been together, they have played extensively in the Bay Area, from Santa Rosa to Monterey, and from San Francisco to Concord. They have played at hotels, wineries and country clubs including the Fairmont, the Saint Francis, Silverado Country Club, Meadowood Country Club, Thomas Fogarty and Clos-du-Bois Wineries. They have played for weddings, conventions, wine-tastings, bar mitzvahs and have been the featured group for New Year's Eve at such hotels as the Ritz-Carlton and the Park-Hyatt in San Francisco.
