Jason Ward and the West End Mules

Based out of Maine, we are an instrumental R&B/jazz/rock ensemble led by the saxophonist from Rustic Overtones. Our focus is on original material—songs designed to groove. We are a six-piece band featuring horns (sax and trombone) alongside a world-class rhythm section. Our goal is to showcase our unique style of jazz/rock/soul fusion, and we're seeking venues, audiences and shows with like-minded talent. Whether it's rock clubs or jazz festivals, we are at home performing in a variety of settings. Our new album, Boombox Vol. 1, will be released in the first quarter of 2026.
