While mainly focused on classic rock to modern pop, thanks to the talent of all of the members of the band, Cruise Control can provide music from across the board. Cruise Control began several years ago when drummer Tony Dennis joined a Linda Ronstadt tribute band. Tony brought in his daughter, Tiffany, to play keys and provide backing vocals. The leaders of the band, the lead vocalist and the bassist, decided to drop the tribute, and do covers. The name of the band was changed to Wag the Dog. Then, the two leaders of the band decided to leave. Tiffany was elevated to lead vocalist. Another bassist was brought in. The name was changed one last time to Cruise Control. After the first couple of shows were a success, Covid hit. Tony and Tiffany continued to play music online from their house. After Covid started to level off and venues started having live music again, Cruise Control started receiving requests to play. While Tony and Tiffany were ready to go, the guitarist and bassist were not yet ready to return from Covid. Tony recruited another of his daughters, Jasmine, to play bass and provide background vocals. Another guitarist was brought in by the name of Kelviss Presley. This set the line up for getting Cruise Control established with shows being set up at venues around Orange County, the Long Beach area and Hollywood. Tiffany decided to leave the band to pursue her original material. This is when Jasmine was asked to step up to take over the lead vocals for her sister as well as continue to handle the bass. Jasmine did a brilliant job taking over. Kelviss then had to resign due to personal reasons, which led to the recruiting of Daniel Bronder on guitar and eventually Andre Garcia on keys and vocals. This formed the Cruise Control line up you see today. This line up proved to be the magic touch.
