Funky Syndrome

Funky syndrome was fantastic! I had them perform for my assisted living Happy Hour, our theme was Route 66: Journey Through Texas and they killed it! Charlene has an incredible voice and they work really great together as a pair. They played a mix of old country songs as well as new songs and my residents and even staff thoroughly enjoyed it and asked for them to come back ASAP so I booked them again already! Highly recommend!

Bobby and his crew were so awesome! We had a ton of last minute changes and they were super patient and easy to work with. They also JAMMED! The crew loved it. Thank you so much!!

Charlene and the Bayou Boys Band performed at our annual Fiesta with Friends Fair at St. Boniface Church, and they were a great addition to the event. They brought a lot of energy and really helped create a fun, lively atmosphere that people enjoyed throughout their set. You could tell they were experienced performers, the music was amazing and well put together. They did a great job keeping the crowd engaged.

Bobby, who coordinated everything with us, was very professional and easy to work with. He always responded quickly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated during a busy event season.

Overall, the band was a highlight of this year’s lineup. They fit in perfectly with the vibe of the fiesta, and our parishioners can’t wait to have them back again in the future.

I was lucky enough to find Funky Syndrome for our New Year’s Eve party yesterday. From the first communication with Bobby I thought they’d be a great fit. I checked them out online and thought they sounded great, but no online video can do justice to their live sound!!!! Bobby and Charlene’s sound is so awesome, the band is amazing! They took song requests from the crowd, took a custom list from me, even learned new songs I requested for the party. There was nonstop dancing, their showmanship was fantastic, they engaged the crowd. Bobby shreds on guitar and harmonica and Charlene’s vocals knocked our socks off. They played my requested genres of disco, 80’s, rock and country. From communication to delivery at the party, they NAILED IT! My guests had a BLAST and we will definitely be hiring them again and following them around OC to their gigs!! I could not recommend them more. If you are looking for amazing entertainment from some genuinely nice and great people, you need to hire Funky Syndrome! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!

They where great. They played all the music we were familiar with, the 60's and 70's. They also took request and they were able to play them all. Our group enjoyed their music very much. Their music liven up the party and people actually danced. It was great. All of us enjoyed the Funky Syndrome very much.
