What to expect

I prioritize a few things above all else, punctuality, communication, sound quality, and flexibility. I am very adamant on allowing myself plenty of time to set up, sound check, get a feel for the space, and settle in comfortably. With my vast experience as a gigging musician, I am extremely adaptable, and can deliver quality performances under any circumstances, within reason. I have a raw, authentic sound that I create using an acoustic guitar, loop pedal, octave pedal -which allows me to add bass lines-, my voice, and percussion. I combine these elements tastefully, to create dynamic, musically unique performances of well known songs, as well as more obscure ones and originals. I love taking requests. I can perform around a campfire, or fill the atmosphere of a 2000 capacity event space with beautiful music. I take up as much room as any solo performer, but I am highly efficient with my use of space, and offer a very full sound. If booking me, expect prompt and personable communication throughout the pre gig process, punctuality the day of, a diverse collection of songs performed through pro-level sound equipment, with a focus on professionalism in all aspects from the start of the process all the way through to the end of the gig. I am looking for lasting partnerships with event coordinators, wedding planners, bar/restaurant/venue owners, etc. Expect my best at all times.

About

Here is a little bit about me...

I come from a musical family. I have been surrounded by music appreciation, performance, and production for my entire life. At the early age of 2 is when I started drumming. This marked the beginning of MY musical journey. By age 9, I was already a solid drummer with great timing and feel. It was also at this time when I started wanting to write music. I needed more melody, more harmony, I needed a new instrument. The guitar was the natural direction for me, because my dad, and many others in my family, played guitar and wrote music with guitar primarily. I was teaching myself how to play, while also writing lyrics and learning songs I loved. Through all trials and tribulations in my life, my love for music was unwavering. I kept improving. In high school I won the talent show performing an original song. In college I won a songwriting competition. I also placed in the top 5 of a city wide original song contest in Spokane, Wa, my hometown. During the start of the pandemic is when I decided to start plans to relocate to Southern California in search of more musical opportunity. As of late I have been gigging regularly in Orange County and LA County, working on original recordings, and further developing my craft. I am at the height of my ability, and am continuing to grow with a total reluctance to settle. This is all for the love of music.

Additional booking notes

My requirements are pretty limited. I need enough space for 1 or 2 speakers on stands, a monitor in front of me, and space right near me for my guitar and microphone stands. I only need connection to a power outlet if you want my max volume sound set up. Otherwise, I do have a portable (no power needed) setup that takes up far less space. Whatever your music need is, I can help.
