I bring a simple, engaging and encouraging musical worship experience. I focus on the beauty and the power of the good news about Jesus and I see myself as an accompaniment to the congregation, not the frontman of a band. All of this leads to the congregation feeling invited to join the celebration of the presence of God, the trustworthiness of Christ, and the thanksgiving for the love of God.

My musical arrangements and guitar playing style also come across as less cookie cutter or like mp3 imitation. I am skilled at bringing together full sounding arrangements with whatever instrumentation is available or even I I’m playing and singing all alone.

I have been leading worship for 15 years in quite a variety of settings. From fully produced 7-person bands to 3-person acoustic sets, plenty of solo situations and even living room sets. I am well known for putting people at ease and helping them feel comfortable participating in worship in an authentic way. I bring a strong pastoral, biblical and theological education and background to fill out my style and posture as a worship leader. This brings a degree of depth, rootedness, and value to my presence as a musical leader.

I am flexible. If I’m playing acoustic guitar, all I need you to provide is a microphone set up, and a monitor system if applicable. If I play electric guitar, it’s most helpful for me to be able to isolate my amplifier back stage somewhere.
