James O'Hara

James O'Hara will always present in a fun and professional matter. Open to any ideas you'd have and would love to work with you on whatever event you would like to put on. He also is a regular trivia master across the city.

You'll have several options for your event;

Solo Act: Runtime- 15-45 mins
James will put on a solo performance, ideally between 15-45 minutes, more or less depending on how clean you need it. This would be your most basic performance. James shows up and just does some comedy at your party, or fundraiser, or bachelor/ette event. Customizing material to be about you or the organization is an option if you'd like.

Solo Act plus opener: Runtime- 30-75 mins
James will do the same as above but will bring along another professional comedian with him as a support act to open the show or host. This will give you a longer show with more variety.

Club Style Showcase: Runtime 75-120 minutes
James will put on a show which will feature an opener and a middle act and will be headlined by him. This would give you a show that is similar to what you would see in a comedy club. This show would be your longest option for a comedy show.

Trivia Night: Runtime-30-150 minutes
James will create a personalized trivia night for your event. Write questions, bring answer cards, and personalize the trivia to your organization or party or whatever you need. Happy to discuss specifics for any type of event.

James O'Hara has been a performing comedian for 10 years and has been worth watching for 5.

He has established himself as a regular headlining act of every club in Toronto, and across Canada and the US. He has appeared at Comedy Bar, Absolute Comedy, Levity, The Comedy Nest, and many more. His most recent credit is a CBC taping at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival which is available now on CBC Gem (Season 23, Episode 5). His comedy album "I Love You, And I Am Tired" received raved reviews from both credited reviewers, and also his parents.

He has prepared material about: Working customer service, being queer, being engaged, getting older, competitive video games, weezer, and several others. He would also happily write new material for your event.

Ideally each show will have an amp and microphone with mic stand. If not, James will happily rent one for your event for an additional fee.

Trivia night prizes must be supplied by event organizer.
