Jahlani Andrew Roberts is a multi-instrumental performance artist. Commissioned by Something Positive Inc., Mr. Roberts was artist in residence while touring Morocco, Abidjan, Senegal and Nigeria. He performed at The Wendy Williams Show, The Today Show, the Barclay Center, The View, and The Trinidad and Tobago National Steelband Competition as well as starred in a lead role in a Musical “The Pan Man”. Noticing his talents, Sesame Flyers Intl. sought his talents to work within their NYC school programs as their Lead Steelpan Director. Currently, he is a performer, composer and educator, licensed by the DOE and CUNY, spreading his knowledge and love of Steel Pan city-wide.

My performance features myself on the tenor pan soloing over a background track. The background track is played through a small amp with a powerful speaker. My sets include songs from as far back as the 80's to modern day music. The genre's of music range from Pop and R&B to Reggae and Soca.
