About
Jah, a Miami native, grew up inspired by the timeless music of the Jackson Five. His passion for music led him to join an all-boy group, where he discovered his love for performance. From there, he explored rhythm, first through the drums and later the djembe, an instrument that would become central to his soulful percussion style.
Never one to stop singing, Jah honed his voice in the church choir and at numerous live band performances and Open Mic events. Influenced by legends like Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Bobby McFerrin, and Musiq Soulchild, he blends Neo-Soul, R&B, and Afro-Soul into a sound that is both timeless and innovative.
Audiences are captivated by the distinct energy of the djembe, with some even describing it as supernatural. When fused with a full band, it creates an exotic and mesmerizing World Music experience that sets Jah apart. His ability to merge rhythm, melody, and raw emotion into every performance makes him a rising force in the Neo-Soul and R&B scene.

Influences and inspiration
Our sound is shaped by a blend of timeless soul, fearless musicianship, and community-driven live performance.
We’re deeply influenced by The Jackson 5 for their infectious energy, harmony, and stage presence; Stevie Wonder for his musical genius, emotional depth, and spiritual message; Al Jarreau for his vocal freedom and jazz sophistication; Bobby McFerrin for his boundary-breaking rhythm and improvisation; and Musiq Soulchild for his modern soul storytelling and authenticity.
Beyond recorded music, church choirs, open-mic culture, and live jam sessions have played a major role in shaping our identity—teaching us how to connect with audiences in real time. The djembe sits at the heart of our sound, grounding everything in rhythm and ancestral energy. When fused with a live band, it creates an Afro-Soul, Neo-Soul experience that’s both rooted and forward-thinking.
Together, these influences drive us to create performances that are soulful, rhythmic, and deeply human—music that moves the spirit as much as the body.
