Jack Byrne has a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, as well as over a decade of experience as a solo artist. His repertoire covers a wide range of styles from classic rock, to folk, to jazz, to modern pop, and he writes his own music as well. We hired Jack to perform at my husband’s 40th birthday party and he made the night absolutely unforgettable! We gave him a few favorite genres and bands and he curated the perfect setlist. Jack’s voice is phenomenal and he was so accommodating with special requests. By the end of the night, everyone was asking how to book him for their own events! We can’t wait to have him back. What to expect
At one of my performances, you can expect a variety of different musical styles, from a variety of time periods. I love a good singalong, so I try to choose songs that you'll probably know, and will always encourage you to belt it out. I try to keep things upbeat and fun, but I can keep the vibe mellow too, if need be.
About
Hi! My name is Jack Byrne, I am a singing guitarist and songwriter from the Boston area. I grew up in the South Shore of Massachusetts in a very musical family. My dad taught me how to play the guitar when I was 10 years old, and my 5 siblings and I often break out into spontaneous Beatles sing-alongs at a moment's notice. I got my masters in vocal performance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where I studied classical music and opera for a while, and now I love playing classic rock, folk, and 90s covers. I hope to add a fun and upbeat vibe to your event soon!

My solo set-up is pretty simple. I have a Fishman speaker that I plug my microphone and guitar into, a mic stand, and a tip bucket... that's basically it! All I need is a power outlet to plug into.
