J&Kat is a power duo (trio) with custom tracks focusing on popular/mainstream "retro" music from the 60's 70's, 80's and 90's in genres including pop, rock, disco, yacht rock, and country. November 3, 2019J & Kat did such an awesome job at our party. They are professional and friendly and a great duo. They arrived early to set up, were very flexible and even learned a bunch of new songs for our Yacht Rock theme. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be using them again.

J&Kat started out individually quite a few years back graduating from Musicians Institute in Hollywood Ca. and Belmont University in Nashville respectively, both being highly acclaimed music schools. Various recording sessions and many tours followed, backing well known recording artists including Trisha Yearwood. Now they are experiencing the most fun that they've ever had performing the cover music that they love at various lounges, private events and festivals throughout Southern Ca. and beyond........
The set up for J&Kat is "very simple and space efficient." The main audio system is the latest Electro Voice "evolve 50" stick subwoofer combo. This 1000 watt system provides excellent coverage, ensuring that everyone in your audience experiences great sound. If a bigger stage is available - wonderful, but this set up can fit in the tightest of spaces, thus making premium entertainment available just about anywhere.
