Raised in Zurich, J-SAX studied saxophone, composition, and arrangement at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern and graduated with a master’s degree in 2001. For more than 25 years he has captivated and inspired audiences with his tasteful and fascinating saxophone playing.

As one of the few Swiss saxophonists he performed on stage alongside such musicians as Quincy Jones, Michael Bublé, The Manhattan Transfer, Al Jarreau, Patti Austin, Dave Grusin, Lee Ritenour, Jacob Collier, Curtis Stigers, Nikky Yanofski and many other talented musicians.

He has been living in Montreal for a few years now and has since fallen in love with the city and its fantastic music and cultural scene.
