What to expect
What I want out of a performer:
1. I like my performer to show up on time, with all his/her equipment ready to go.
2. I want him/her to have everything they need - no matter what the circumstances.
3. I don't want to have to think about anything other than my own event.
4. I want to be able to trust that the performance they give is considered, well rehearsed, and of a professional quality.
5. i want my performer to be flexible wherever possible.
Essentially - I want to know what I am getting for my money - and that is the service that I like to provide.
There should never be a moment where you need even to consider anything other than your own day.
About
Greg started his musical career at 10 years old, learning to play the multiple manual organ and piano. At 19, he moved to flute and joined the British Army as a professional musician. Rising in rank to Warrant Officer Class 1, Bandmaster, Greg saw out the end of his career conducting the Band of The Coldstream Guards, one of the bands, that regularly changes the guard at Buckingham Palace.
Since that time, he has enjoyed several years performing in local bands as a keyboards/piano player, bass guitarist and lead guitarist. Currently he spends his spare time working as performer and musical director for The Patrick Jaouen Band, performing regularly in the Rochester area.
Greg is also a celebrated composer, holding such accolades as consecutive two time winner of the Household Division Quick March competition as well has having written the official slow march for the British Royal Corps of Army Music.
Additional booking notes
As a musician, I bring all of my own equipment. That said - if you have an instrument that you really want me to perform on, I can do that.
I have a stage piano, stand, amplifier, extension cables and seat that will come with me. All I need is the space to set it up.
I have very few requirements:
1. A source of power.
2. Reasonable lighting.
3. Overhead covering - the keyboards are expensive.
Services offered
Setup requirements
