Itchy Feet plays a mix of straight-ahead jazz and hard-driving swing. Formed in 2009, the band is a nonet with six horns, keys, bass and drums. The band members are among Greater Boston's busiest musicians, arrangers, and educators. The band's repertoire spans several jazz eras, incorporating a mix of styles from swing to modern jazz. Original compositions and arrangements are written by band members David Johnson, Brian Lewis and Jim Repa. We often perform with vocalist Steve Marvin, who adds a whole different sound to the band. Steve's Sinatra-influenced style is enhanced by custom vocal arrangements written especially for us!
