Irene Goodnight is a song writer, singer, and guitar player. She has produced 7 albums containing many original songs, sang in the movie Forrest Gump, and has toured with well known musical grops such as "The Drifters" and the "Hallelujah Singers. Having recently moved back to her home town Beaufort, South Carolina, she has partnered with Bob Guinn and his Trinidad Steel Drum to bring a distinctly tropical sound to many of her songs. With over 200 public performances in the last three years, tourists and local residents are charmed with the original lyrics and music.

May 6, 2016We had a great event, thanks to the Irene Goodnight Band. They arrived early and had everything set to go, and were very accommodating. Their easy listening sound gave a very festive tone to our event. Will definately keep them in mind for future events!

The Irene Goodnight Band consists of Irene Goodnight, senior songwriter, singer, and guitar player. Performing originals and covers, her current inventory consists of over 300 songs. She is assisted by Bob Guinn playing steel drum and percussion. Stories, audience participation, and requests highlight each performance. Members of the audience are invited to join in the band performance through playing of percussion instruments, dancing, and singing.
The band uses what is considered to be the best small band speaker systems availble which is Bose. We currently us the Bose L1 compact system for venues up to 100 and have the Bose L1 Model 1 for venues with up to 500.
