Irene Banks a native of Atlanta GA, discovered a passion for music around the age of 8. It all started with a cassette player along with the Marvin Gaye cassette “Let’s Get It On”. While singing along she realized that she had a natural gift. As a child was embarrassed to sing because she didn’t sound like other kids. With encouragement from family and friends she later started entering high school and local media agent shows.

Later, she started getting requests to sing at weddings and corporate events that eventually led to her joining a band and opening shows for other artists like the late Marvin Sease, Willie Clayton and Lakeside. She had the opportunity to record a couple of singles in Nashville and worked on several original tracks with Otis Reddin lll and collaborated with Jermaine Dupri.

Performed at several charity events, NAACP Scholarship Program, Hank Stewart's Foundation and U.S. Postal Stamp unveiling to name a few.

Will use own Sennheiser mic wireless or wired. If venue is not equipped for plug and play there will be an additional charge.
