Overview
Intrinsic Arts is an arts and entertainment company from just south of Chicago. We were founded in 2009 as a fire performance troupe and have since expanded to include art in various other forms. We work with fire performers, live painters, jugglers, stilt walkers, aerialists, fashion designers, street entertainers, photographers, and DJs. We curate pop up art galleries in our 30ft geodome and have an array of art installations. We also do event production and promotion.

Amazing, I would give 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend these performers, they were professional, on time, and easy to communicate with. They put on a great show for my party and everyone loved it!

August 30, 2023The Absolute Best Fire Performers.
We have an annual party at our farm and we have booked Intrinsic Arts for the last two events (a Gatsby party and a luau.). They are exceptional and are far superior to anyone else we have booked for fire eating or fire dancing. This is not just a job to them - it is an art. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The ultimate performance is always top-notch and guests remember it long after the party is over. My Facebook feed is usually full of videos from their performances for days after a party. I actually save videos - their performances even look great on a phone.
But the professionalism and care they put into everything also separates them. They don’t just set a price and show up. You hear from them in advance with any music requests, performance ideas and costume themes. They arrive early to discreetly setup and they are really kind and friendly people.
Their performers always get into whatever theme you have picked and they are dressed in the spirit of it (one of them literally dressed as Taylor Swift for a set and knocked it out.). Their performances are hands down the best I have seen. We have been hosting this party for nine years. I have hired many fire performers in my life. No one compares to Intrinsic Arts.
Their pricing is very reasonable (almost too reasonable - they could charge more for their level of talent.). I literally have nothing but good things to say. This is A+ talent without attitude or markup costs. Just an absolute gem of a find. If you’re looking for a firedancer or group, stop right here. They are the absolute best.

What to expect
As a fire troupe, we offer a wide selection of fire props and spinning styles. We are trained with poi, hoop, staff, double staff, rope dart, and fans. We incorporate tech, flow, and stage fighting into our routines. We do ambient and choreographed pieces. We have performed at indoor and outdoor events ranging from music and arts festivals to private parties and from corporate events to fundraisers. We are insured and trained in fire safety management. Performances generally last 15-60 minutes.
We work with multiple live painters. They utilize various styles including visionary, surrealism, portraiture, pointillism, and landscape. They have painted locally at various concerts and arts & crafts fairs, and internationally at Envision in Costa Rica. Our painters are available to paint at your event, for commissions, and have studio work available for sale.
We also work with stilt walkers.
