Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, Shirley began her love affair with the harp at the early age of nine, at 12 she was performing with a unique harp ensemble of 36 harpists touring South America.
She has performed professionally all over the world, as a soloist and with her own band , sharing her passion for the instrument.

As a featured entertainer an a prolific composer Shirley ,combines high energy numbers with engaging performance skills , lively ethnic rhythms covering the cultural spectrum from Greek, Italian, New Flamenco and Pop to her own Latin roots, bringing the Harp to the Center Stage .

For tonight’s Show, she will be performing on her newest Magma Red Electro Harp that always surprise the audience with the most beautiful sounds and will share some of her own compositions in addition to breathtaking versions of
Broadway favorites and standards .

She has released six CD’s and one DVD ,she has been feature on numerous radio and television programs in the United States and South America, performing for many prominent figures, including the President of the United States
Mr. George W. Bush, former Vice President Al Gore, world renown
Cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Gloria Estefan and many more.
