I am Igor Korokhov, and I’ve lived on stage my entire life. I was already performing professionally while still a student, and since then, I’ve handled hundreds of events. Over the decades, I’ve seen the industry from every possible angle—as a solo lounge pianist, a session keyboardist playing alongside some of the best in the business, a mobile DJ, and yes, even once as the groom!

This deep, real-world experience across different roles is exactly what allows me to do what most standard entertainers can't: I instinctively know how to connect live music and a dance party into one seamless experience.

My background is rooted in European conservatory training, where I earned my degree in Piano Performance in 1995. Technical Requirements & Performance Info
I operate as a fully self-contained performer, meaning I can provide complete, professional-grade sound and lighting solutions without requiring the venue or organizer to source external production gear. My equipment is highly scalable, reliable, and carefully designed to adapt to the unique acoustics and layout of your venue.

Here is the breakdown of what I provide and what is needed for a successful setup:

1. Audio & Production Capabilities
Scale & Coverage: I provide a professional, self-contained sound system (including full-range speakers and subwoofer support) suitable for events from intimate gatherings up to approximately 150 guests. The setup is designed to deliver clear, balanced audio for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.

Scalable Sound: For larger venues or events exceeding 150 guests, the audio system can be scaled up accordingly to ensure reliable coverage throughout the space.

Performance Formats: My setup seamlessly accommodates three formats: Live Piano (professional digital keyboard station), DJ Performance, or a Live Hybrid Concept requiring space for both.

2. Lighting Solutions
Professional Dance Floor Lighting: When booked for DJ or Hybrid sets, I can provide dynamic venue lighting—including Chauvet fixture arrays and moving heads—to transform the dance floor and elevate the party atmosphere.

Tailored Setup: Lighting options are fully customizable and scaled depending on the venue size, event format, and your specific aesthetic preferences.

3. Space & Logistical Requirements
To ensure a safe, clean, and timely setup, the following standard conditions help the day run smoothly:

Footprint: A level, solid, and dry performance area is needed. A standard DJ setup requires a minimum of 8 ft x 6 ft, while the Live Hybrid setup (DJ booth + keyboard station) requires a minimum of 10 ft x 6 ft to accommodate all instruments and live performance gear comfortably. Standalone piano setups require 6 ft x 6 ft.

Outdoor Events: For outdoor performances, complete overhead shelter (such as a tent, canopy, or pavilion) is required to protect professional instruments, lighting, and audio electronics from weather and direct sunlight.

Load-In & Setup: I typically arrive at least 2 hours prior to guest arrival for physical assembly, clean wire management, and comprehensive acoustic soundchecks.

4. Electrical Power
Access to at least two independent 15-Amp (or 20-Amp) 120V circuits dedicated solely to the entertainment equipment, located within 25 feet of the performance area. To ensure system stability, these circuits should not be shared with catering warmers or heavy venue appliances.
