Ian Stuart (Comedian)

I've enjoyed working with Ian and having him perform at Sugarloaf. Not only is he hilarious and always brings a great group of entertaining comedians, but he is also extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend booking Ian for a comedy show. Ian first came to Sugarloaf for a show in 2020 and I've had him back for 3 more shows in 2021. All shows easily sold out and we will definitely have Ian back to Sugarloaf for more to come!

Ian Stuart has been a great host, emcee, and booker for myself and many others I’ve worked with in southern Maine comedy. He has been accommodating when I personally needed to adjust an appearance date, generous with opportunities to book as well as types of bookings. And of course, he always brings the laughs.

Ian Stuart is a Professional Comedian in every sense of the words. He is one of the hardest working Comedians that I know. I have seen him perform in front of rowdy crowds and for family oriented dinner audiences and entertain both audiences in such a way that no one was offended or aware of anything except being entertained. He elicits laughter. His ability to assess the audience and tailor his performance to target their demographic is an example of the hard work he has put in perfecting his craft. He is equally comfortable as the sole performer/ Master of Ceremonies or as part of an ensemble of performers. It is truly enjoyable to take in one of his performances. The small intimate audience receives the same intensity in his presentation as the large crowd in a packed auditorium. The real evidence is in the laughter and smiles on the faces of everyone there. I highly recommend Ian Stuart and believe he can meet your entertainment needs.

I've seen Ian Stuart several times and hosted him at one of our events — he always puts on a great show. He's got a good mix of really funny jokes, does great crowd work and just has a strong, memorable presence. When he organizes a show, he always brings in a great group of local comedians. They killed it up here in Rockland a few years ago and the crowd was really enthusiastic. He definitely has done a lot to revive the local comedy scene and our faith that local comedians can actually be funny! He's also written and acted in various Temp Tales cartoon episodes, which are worth checking out. Highly recommended!
