October 19, 2025They were great. Perfect. I had people watch them the entire night and enjoyed it found it super entertaining. Whenever I had a chance to break off from my hosting duties they sounded amazing. They were so entertaining. It was just perfect. Well, you watch them or we listen to them as background music, they were perfect. Sounded really good. My wife and I are really into the music scene. I only say that so you know that we know talent. And they got it. We hired lotta musicians throughout the years, and these guys were top-notch.

Not only did they wheel their gear to our tent during wet and cloudy weather, they played for our party with cheerful smiles. They have a great mix of Americana, folk, and Irish tunes to backdrop any party.

September 25, 2023The Part Time Managers played for our company get-together over the weekend. We were appreciative of their flexibility with a potential washout and low attendance in terrible weather. They were all smiling and wonderful to work with. Everyone at the party was saying "where did you get these guys? They're really good!" and I was proud to say that I found them on Gigsalad and it was a lucky find. They are all wonderful musicians with a great folk sound and an impressive array of instruments.

Ian Carroll is a lifelong musician and has been working as a full time musician since 2016. You can find hime One Man Banding or Fiddling, or playing with various bands 7 days a week Spring - Fall throughout the South Central PA & Baltimore region. His music mostly falls under Americana and Irish but also plays with different outfits playing various world music and Hits from the past century. Because he plays with so many different musicians its usually pretty easy for him to put a band together for your event of the folks who may be available. Fiddle/Violin is his main Instrument but he also plays the Mandolin, Viola, sings lead and harmony and is an accomplished percussionist. He was winner of the 2023 York County Artist Innovator award for his self designed foot percussion system and street performance efforts in the region. Also a recording artist he came out with his latest solo album "A little Journey" in December of 2023 and has two albums with the band "The Part Time Managers" of mostly original work named "The Good of my Soul" (2022) And "Denver" (2021) all of which are worth a listen.
