$30/hour per staff member, based on 4 hours of service. (pricing vary by location, hourly rates are increased on holidays and holiday weekends)

The servers were awesome!! They came in and got everything done, I just had to explain it and they had it handled.
I had requested a very EXPERIENCED bartender since I was having a party with over 100 people, most of drinking age. A very young man arrived on time. He never ever got fluster, but he also serve 1 drink ever 5 minutes. We had lines waiting for drinks! He was so slow, could not make frozen drinks, didn't know what some of the shots were, gave my guest ginger ale and scotch when they asked for ginger ale and whiskey, made 5 margaritas in a shot shaker rather than in a large shaker where he could have done them all at the same time. I jumped in and served 5 people to his 1! He received very nice tips and drank with some of the guests. If I didn't explain that I needed someone experienced because I had previous bartenders who didn't know what they were doing, I would not have cared, but I stressed the need for experience. I could have had my own 25 year old bartend and it would have been better. Everyone said he was the worse one we have had in our 15 years of doing the party. They all said he was a nice kid, but terrible bartender.
I recently was a Day of the Wedding Coordinator for wonderful couple! This is the email that I sent to the President of Company after she sent an email to my client (excerpt from email "the staff was only paid until 11pm and 11:30pm and they were told they could not be paid directly on Saturday night to stay I requested they all leave. We try to understand that alcohol influences people’s behavior and sometimes comes with the territory of working events") and myself regarding the behavior of her staff on what should be the most wonderful night of new lives together!
Your first two staff showed, the young man showed up in a black tee shirt with tan shorts below the knee and the other young lady showed up in a tee shirt with black pants. (Not exactly dress wear that would expected for a wedding). I was expecting that they had clothing to change into to find out that they didn't. As I am going over the details of where the food is and giving them the items that were necessary to be placed. I now find out that the young man must leave to go buy pants and the young lady is calling the other three wait staff to make sure they are properly attired. Not effective use of my client’s time as they should be getting things set up.
The next three are due to arrive, one is almost 15 minutes late and I now must explain to all HOW they should be warming items. NOT a proper use of my time. I am a Day of the Wedding Coordinator, not a babysitter nor an instructor of staff. I must now run to the ceremony to get my bride and groom down the aisle to come back to find the young man still is not back from getting pants, which is almost an hour of my client’s time.
The five wait staff had obviously NOT been involved in a wedding nor been trained in a wedding WHAT SO EVER. They had no clue to be pouring champagne nor even putting water out on the tables. But as they were busy trying to figure out what they were even doing and complaining about what was to be done and waiting to be TOLD what to do, it caused massive delays including the toast.
My biggest error was to give the payment to whom I had "designated" the lead (my mistake) at approximately 8:45 pm as this seemed to cause a complete breakdown. My bride and mother-in-law walked in to find your staff huddled together. I was approached and advised of this and immediately advised them this should not have happened. I received massive attitude and nasty remarks now. (slamming of dishes and such)
As things were going to be running late, it would now be more hours and after speaking with the bride. I spoke with the "designated lead" and then went to call you. I did NOT ever tell anyone to go to the bride, EVER! I confirmed with you the amount and was headed to the bride to speak with her found your wait staff speaking with my bride! This was most upsetting and I am not sure why it was stated that I told the wait staff to go to anyone other than myself as this is a complete lie. The comments that your wait staff said over and over to the bride were that "I was not available (as I was on the phone with you) so she went to the person in blue (mother in law of groom) who told her to go the bride". The mother in law of the bride advises she said, "No such thing and was not aware of anything". But if they were experienced wait staff they would know to NEVER EVER approach the Bride or Groom when there is a Coordinator on premises.
The other thing that I think should be noted that at numerous times throughout the night the wait staff were noted to run down the hall from outside (in a group of three), be huddled in groups of three chatting, numerous times texting on their phones (right in front of me) and spent more time talking back then completing necessary tasks.
We hired Hostess With the Mostess to cater my mom's birthday party. Both of my parents are very hard to please food wise, and are very picky. After the party, not only were all our guests raving about the food, but both of my parents could NOT stop talking about how AMAZING it was. My father thinks Stephenie is a food genius! She was also extremely professional, showed up early and went straight to work making sure the event ran smoothly. I highly reccomd her if you are looking to have a great meal (and who isn't)!

We had the pleasure of having these guys at our engagement party at Queens County Farm last December. They were very upbeat and so polite. An aunt of mine metioned that one of the waitstaff even cut up her toddler's food for her. It doesn't get any better than that! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
Had a backyard party for 80 people. Stephanie was extremely helpful and flexible in booking, and answered all of my emails promptly. The day of the party, Helen, Maria and Stephanie arrived early, got everything organized and ensured that the party ran smoothly. I would gladly use them again!
Held a 90th birthday brunch for my grandmother and hired a waitstaff to help out. Nicole was fantastic. She is so nice, helpful and ready to take on any task to make the party a success.

Helen was our server on January 30, 2016. She did a great job. Heating up and serving the appetizers, maintaining the hot food in their chafing dishes, taking out the garbage as needed, washing dishes and giving us a great smile while doing it all. I planned bridal shower for July 11th (65 people men and women) , originally I was going to order food from Fairway. The party was in a backyard and all i needed originally was grillers and a grill. I reached out to Stephanie, who replied promptly and was very helpful. She informed me that they get all the meats from a butcher and assured me she could recreate whatever I wanted from fairway. I requested the following : Appetizers- Sausage and pepper skewers, tomatoes and Mozzarella screwers coconut shrimp skewers, pigs in a blanket.
Dinner- Beef sirloin kebabs, chicken kebabs, pineapple Habernaro chicken, Sweet chili Chicken, Sweet Italian swag, beef hamburgers, turkey burgers with peter lugar sauce, salmon burgers, veggie kebabs, Hawaiian Salad, Grilled Salad and Corn on the cob.
The price was so reasonably, so I took a shot and trusted Stephanie. I ordered the food, a grill and two grillers.
The day of :
My grillers showed up 30 minutes early, came with condiments ( even though I informed Stephanie I had taken care of all of that ) just incase we needed it. They helped my caters ( not from this company) even though they didn't need to. They came in and jumped into help right away. My grillers were absolutely phenomenal. I can't even begin to explain to you how professional and on point they were . I'm very thankful for all their help and being so hard working.
The food was beyond my expectations everything I asked for was spot everything was seasoned and marinated perfectly. Food was such a hit everything tasted amazing!!! A big hit was the coconut shrimp.
My florist Andrew Scott was so impressed with their work, that he took down this company information to refer to people. A few of my guests have already used this company after the party and also had an amazing experience.

Booking was very easy but when our waitress (I feel bad putting her name) showed up it was not the easy carefree experience I was hoping for. We were not serving food that needed to be heated up or anything too demanding. She was there to keep thing organized and replenished. Although she had the best intention, she was extremely slow at getting anything done and needed to be told EXACTLY what to do. For someone who works parties often (I assume) she seemed to be confused about general things--for example not putting the two cold salads on sterno's, or cutting a few pieces from each of the three cakes we had and not completely cutting one at a time. She also opened every package of cups and plates that I had so that I was unable to return the extra that I did not need. Communicating was very difficult and i had to have friends and family help.
Debbie showed up on time and was as pleasant as could be. She was looking for more things to do to keep her busy. She had great interaction with the guests while not interfering with them while cleaning up. When all guests left my wife and I went inside and found the place immaculate. Highly recommend Hostess with the Mostess! Thank you Stephanie!

What a lovely experience with a most delightful group of Hostesses They were cordial pleasent, hospitable, professional and in every way accomadated the needs of all our Family and Guests. The arrived on time stayed as long as we needed, orientated themselfs immediately to their surrondings and familiarized themself's to the needs of our home.
Stephanie and her staff was the best. From the minute they came to my house they got right into the groove. I didnt have to lift a finger. Even when I tried they told me they got it. They were all very friendly like I knew them for years. They just did it all from serving, dishes, garbage, vacuum, you didnt even know I had a party of about 95 people. They made me enjoy my daughters baby shower even more, knowing that everything was being taken care of.. My superman character was a hit. The kids loved him. He went around all the tables, talked with everyone, took pictures with the kids and even some adults (me included). I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Im sure I will be using them for my future parties. Thank you again Stephanie and your staff for all of your help, I would not have been able to do this by myself. THANK YOU!
I hired two servers and a bartender to help out at my husband's 40th birthday party. Stephanie was so nice and helpful, answering a ton of emails with questions from me. She also helped me pick the drinks we would serve and told me exactly what and how much I needed. She even called me on her way here to see if we needed anything, and stopped for ice. On the day of the party, Stephanie and Danielle showed up exactly on time and took right over. They did everything that I needed, from putting out food, serving appetizers and dinner to cleaning up and packing everything away like there was never a party of 50 people in my house. I did not have to do a thing other than enjoy our guests. Our bartender Mike was a huge hit, making sure the drinks were flowing all night! Our guests loved the whole staff, and clamored for their cards so that they could hire them for their next event. It was hard for them to leave because our guests didn't want to let them go out the door! I can't say anything better about them - they were nothing short of amazing, and I will hire them again the next time I need any help and will recommend them to everyone!!
Just had an amazing party for my sons 1st birthday. I host a lot of house / backyard parties and for tht first time enjoyed myself. Annabelle and Alyssa was of the utmost professionalism... But also friendly and courteous as friends and family had mentioned. I will certainly be calling on these women in the further as I had a really nice time at my own
Yesterday we threw ourselves a going away party and invited our family and closest friends to help us celebrate. Lisa and Mattie went above and beyond to make our party an absolute success. These two girls in a word are AWESOME. They arrived on time and didn't let anyone lift a finger they served our food made drinks packed away left overs and cleaned better than I ever did. LOL I would hire hostess with the mostess in a split second for any other function we have. We can't thank these girls enough.
To anyone thinking of using this service just go ahead and do it! A club themed party with 90 adults. The staff was fantastic and took charge of making our party flow without any issues. The barteneder josh was great! I received alot of compliments from my guests about him and the wait staff. They were professional and very easy to work with. I just met them that evening but it felt like we have known one another for a while. I Can't reccomend them enough. We will be using this service again. Great job

Stephanie and Lisa, along with a bartender and BBQ cook, helped out with a pool party we had on August 10. They were extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions in planning the party, which was great. But most of all, the minute they arrived, they dove in and not only helped, but managed the party so well that I truly enjoyed myself and relaxed, even though we had 50+ people at the house. They pretty much kicked me out of the kitchen! Stephanie and Lisa and everyone who works with them are friendly and helpful, and just a pleasure. But most of all, they are extremely proactive and efficient -- they know how to manage a party, can find things and take actions without constantly asking questions or seeking guidance, and go the extra mile to do things without me asking or even thinking to ask! They made our party great and a pleasure for us, and I would definitely not even plan my next party unless I knew they were available

Lisa, Stephanie, their wait staff, bartender, face painter/clown, and griller were great. They were very professional plus they went above and beyond our expectations of them. I hired Hostess withtheMostess for a surprise 30th backyard party. They were like a fine tuned machine.. Worked so well together and with the grillman also hired they them. I have been told I get a bit crazy with details at parties but they knew exactly what needed to be done. It was like they were in my head!! I've hired other waitresses before but never got even close to the amount of service n help these girls were!! I will never use anyone else again and couldn't help but feel bad for the amount of work they did it seemed like so little money! They were friendly and adorable and even wore costumes I ordered for them. Everyone commented on the work they did... i was so impressed with what this company can do. they took care of everything for me! they helped me cut my budget on food by offering different options, one of which was using a griller provided by them to bbq. they also customized a drink menu for me, which cut down the amount and types of liquor i had to buy. after they walked in the door and i explained to them what i wanted and when they took care of EVERY SINGLE THING for the rest of the party. it was so nice being able to sit back and relax! i will absolutely use them again!

I wouldnt have been able to pull off my backyard party without these girls! My guest list quickly turned into over 150 people and i knew i needed help, luckily i found the right company! Stephanie and Lisa both waitressed my party, and were completely understand when i told them i did not what neither one of them to show up and for them to just send their employees. That is not what these girls do, they are so professional and you can tell the pride they take in their business. The also provided us with two other waitstaff members, a griller, two bartenders, and a clown. Their prices are much better than other companies that i have hired in the past, and they do much better work then the more expensive ones!
