An unforgettable experience!

The Hooley Shooters performed at our Mom’s Life Celebration at Brady’s at the Station in Ramsey, New Jersey, this summer. Tom Gardner was absolutely wonderful to work with, and incredibly kind, thoughtful and sensitive to our Mom’s recent passing, making sure it was exactly what we and she would have wanted. We settled on a 3-piece ensemble which was absolutely perfect; they filled the room with music and joy and truly made the party complete. They also got everyone dancing, laughing and celebrating, which I know is something Mom would have enjoyed and preferred to sadness and tears. I am sure she was smiling down on us from heaven that day :) Not only was the music beautiful, but the band’s personality and interaction with our friends and family, from rallying them them to dance, taking requests, and even showing the kids your instruments at the end, made it so special. Highly recommended!

What to expect

High energy, fun, lively entertainment. We do play a few ballads, but just to give the audience a chance to breathe. Irish and American classics and American classic party with lots of singing along, clapping, laughing and just pure fun!

About

Tom Gardner has worked for 15 years with the amazing Danny Quinn as The Uncle Brothers in schools all across America. Together they have 10 award winning children's/family CDs. Tommy also works solo as 'Tommy" for family events and Irish pubs.

Axel Belohoubek is a musician's musician. He has performed solo and in dozens of the region's top bands, covering everything from jazz to pop to r&b... and now, of course, Irish. He has written popular jingles, scores films, and works with singer/songwriters in major NYC recording studios as well as his own home studio in NNJ.

The Hooley Shooters ("Hooley", Irish slang for celebration and 'Shooters" bar slang for shot of fav adult beverage) invites your guests to enjoy an event with a 'Shotta Life". Their energy has been compared to a musical freight train because their goal is to create a memorable party each and every time.

A popular question is can guests dance at your affairs? Although they are not a traditional dance band (pop, wedding bands, etc.), they have brought audiences to their feet often at Irish pubs and parties. A perfect fit would be AOH events, Irish pubs, and private parties, even house parties.

They primarily work locally throughout the NY/NJ/CT tri-state region, but will entertain requests for larger corporate gigs. They could also add a fiddle player and a drummer for larger affairs. Corporate and private affairs are per quote only.
