July 17, 2025Absolutely Phenomenal!
Pamela was extremely professional and very accommodating. The guests who paid tribute was pleasantly surprised that a harpist played the music. They still mention today how beautiful the music was. Pamela knew exactly what to do and chimed in when needed, in addition to the song requests. She was a great find and I would absolutely, without reservation, book her services again. Give her a try, and you can thank me later! 😊

What to expect
You can expect a beautiful, emotional sound and a repertoire list to keep everyone happy. I arrange most of my own music to adapt modern songs for the harp. It's fun to have guests guess what it is without the lyrics! I also play Irish, Classical, some jazz, disney, and traditional favorites.
During our conversation I'll ask which genre you prefer but I'm very good at reading the room providing the appropriate music.
You can also expect an organized, easy to reach professional. I have been doing this for a while and know the small details that need to be worked out ahead of time to create a smooth event.
I can take one (possibly two for wedding ceremonies) song request per event if it's outside of my repertoire list.
I also can provide discounted rates if hired for multiple sections (ceremony and cocktail hour for instance)
About
Hello!
My name is Pamela I studied classical piano during college and adapted my piano skills to offer this beautiful unique instrument. I love to blend genres of classical, Irish, jazz, and modern. I use my arrangement skills to adapt full band modern song into fun solo songs for the harp. I offer a unique repertoire list that isn't seen to often in the harp world! Guests love trying to identify the songs they recognize.
Take a look at my profile for info about set up requirements, gear, my two harps, sound equipment, etc. I'm always happy to talk and answer questions.
Additional booking notes
Let's talk gear and set up!
PERFORMANCE SPACE:
For Pedal harp I need about a 4x4 space. Having a near by electric outlet is helpful but not always necessary as I have a wireless speaker.
Pedal harps are difficult to move so I need awareness of the space from car to performance space. Is there a load in zone? are there any stairs, cobblestones, hills, elevators with heigh capacity issues, etc
OUTDOOR SPACES:
*The harp needs to be out of direct sunlight and under cover (tent, EZ up, large umbrella, tree or structure shade). If it is perfectly blue skies I can play without overhead coverage in a shaded environment (shade from trees or near by structures), but any potential sign of raindrops I will require coverage for safety of my harp and sound equipment. I can provide an EZ up myself for a small additional fee.
*The harp needs to be on dry, level ground. Harps can easily tip over so I need the ground to be level. Playing on grass requires a bit of planning. Celtic harp is easy for outdoor venues- nothing special required! The pedal harp (due to its size and weight) needs either a wooden platform or a human helper. Since I can not leave it unattended without the risk of it tipping over I would need a second pair of hands to hold it steady as i go back and fourth during load in and sound check. Then again would need help holding it steady as I retrieve my car to load out at the the end of the gig.
WHICH HARP SHOULD YOU PICK?
I have two harps. You can see a side by side photo in my photo section of the difference. The Celtic harp is the smaller of the two. It's an Irish instrument and is great for events that need quick relocation during the performance, outdoor gigs (especially those on grass, hills, or have no vehicle access), and of course Irish music gigs!. The sound is beautiful. It has a light, bright, airy Irish sound. You can hear it on my videos.
The pedal harp is an antique made in the 1940's! It is larger and has a more beautiful aesthetic. The main difference is the size and look. It is much larger! The sound is somewhat more powerful and rounded. It has more strings on the low end so can get a deeper range of low notes. Due to its size, I charge a bit more for this harp and have to ask to be notified of stairs, elevators, dirt paths, cobblestone, etc. Anything that makes it difficult to roll a harp dolly through going from car to performance location.
SOUND EQUIPMENT:
Both harps have built in pick ups that run through a 1/4" jack. I have a BOSE S1PRO wireless speaker I usually bring but can also plug into a system if you have a DJ or sound guy on board for a more complete surround sound. If you are looking for a sound person I could recommend one!
ADDITIONAL ADD ONS (for a small fee):
Wireless Microphone rentals for Ceremonies vows
A white EZ
