In every performance, I combine poetry with small snippets of appropriate songs to underscore the theme of the poem and/or to build the audience's investment in the poem. The usual set lasts 20-30 minutes and will include 5-8 poems of various lengths and subject matters. If there is a specific theme to your show, poems can be created to ensure that your theme is the focus.

There are no requirements for lighting and staging. However, for the best quality show, especially with larger events, a microphone works best. It is not a requirement, and years of singing have honed my voice so that it projects well.
The set list varies depending on the length and theme of the events. If the event has a specific poem that they would like included, I do accept their requests.
