The audience can expect a smooth R&B and soul set with a mix of my original songs and covers they’ll recognize. I can keep the vibe laid-back and intimate or make it more upbeat depending on the event.
I normally perform with professional backing tracks, and I can also perform with live accompaniment when arranged ahead of time. I’m happy to customize the set length and song choices to fit the event.
I’m HollyBear, an LA-based R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. My sound is soulful, smooth, and inspired by 2000s R&B with some jazz influence.
I perform original music along with R&B and soul covers, either with backing tracks or live accompaniment. I’m available for lounges, restaurants, private events, college events, showcases, and other live performances.
I perform using backing tracks played from my phone or laptop. I’ll need access to a sound system with a microphone, mic stand, and a way to connect my/a device to the mixer or speakers. An aux cable, DI box, or Bluetooth connection can work depending on the setup.
A small performance area and access to power are also needed. Please let me know ahead of time what sound equipment is provided so I can plan accordingly, if needed.
My influences include Amy Winehouse, Kehlani, Sasha Keable, Summer Walker, Jhené Aiko, Alicia Keys, Adi Oasis, FKA twigs, Alina Baraz, and Sade.
