A Little Event Magic: What to Expect from Holly from The Farm ✨
Holly from The Farm arrives ready to bring color, creativity, and a little extra sparkle to your celebration!

She comes fully prepared with everything needed to transform guests into works of art, including professional paints, glitter, supplies, her own table and chair, and—when working outdoors—a canopy for shade and comfort.
Holly will arrive 20–30 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up, prepare her space, and make sure everything is ready before the first guest takes their turn in the chair.

To help create a smooth and magical experience, please have:
A designated setup area ready and accessible upon arrival.
A clear space for painting and guest flow.
Parking arrangements available in advance to make loading and unloading equipment easy.

Creating a Smooth Line & Happy Guests ✨
Each guest typically takes 2–5 minutes to paint, depending on the design selected. For larger events, a designated line manager is highly recommended to help keep the magic moving!
Guests choosing their designs before reaching the artist’s chair helps the line flow faster and allows everyone more time to enjoy the experience.
If your event has booked a service by the hour, please plan accordingly to allow enough time for all guests who would like to be painted. Once the scheduled service time has ended, the artist must stop painting unless additional paid time has been arranged. If you are expecting a particularly large crowd, more than one artist can be booked!

Overtime: Additional time may be added only by agreement with the event organizer who booked the service. (If the artist is available to stay.) Guests may not request or negotiate extra painting time directly with the artist. The scheduled end time is considered a firm stop unless additional paid time has been approved.

Artist Breaks & Comfort
For every two hours of contracted service, the artist will be provided with one paid 10-minute break. The artist must also have access to a restroom during the event.

Creative Boundaries & Artwork Guidelines 🎨
Holly loves bringing guests’ ideas to life! However, she reserves the right to decline painting:
Any design, word, symbol, or image she is not comfortable creating.
Any area of the body she is not comfortable painting.
Any individual who is crying, distressed, unwilling, or unable to participate safely.
The goal is always a fun, positive, and comfortable experience for everyone.

Skin Safety & Product Information 🌿
Holly from The Farm uses only high-quality professional face paints and cosmetic-grade glitter products. While these products are designed for use on skin, everyone’s skin is unique, and allergic reactions are possible.
Guests with sensitive skin, known allergies, or skin conditions should not participate.
For everyone’s safety, Holly will not paint individuals who appear to have:
Open wounds
Cold sores
Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
Significant skin irritation or contagious conditions

Holly takes reasonable care to provide a safe experience but cannot be responsible for allergic reactions, illness transmission, or damage to clothing or property.
Face paint is typically removed easily with soap and water. For stubborn areas or very dry skin, an oil-based remover may help lift the paint.

Weather & Working Conditions ☀️🌧️
Holly wants every event to be a success, but safety always comes first.
The artist reserves the right to pause or leave an event without a refund if unsafe or unsuitable working conditions occur and are not corrected. This may include:
Dangerous weather conditions such as thunderstorms, lightning, tornado warnings, dust storms, or excessive wind. If weather becomes an issue, Holly is happy to relocate indoors when a safe alternative space is available. Please have indoor space/ rain day arrangements made in advance.
Unsafe use of equipment.
Destructive or unsafe behavior from guests.
Illegal activities or unsafe environments.

If an event must be canceled due to weather, an Act of God, or circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Holly will make every effort to reschedule when her availability allows.

The goal of Holly from The Farm is simple: to help create joyful memories your guests will remember.
Please feel free to ask questions before your event so we can plan the perfect experience. For outdoor events, please have a weather plan in place, as face painting requires a clean, dry, protected area.
If water or wetness is a part of your event, please consider booking Swimproof water-resistant face painting services. Holly is one of the only artists in central Illinois offering this service, and it requires special tools, products, and training to use. It is a wonderful way to enjoy both art and water play!!
