Holly's won the Hollywood Entertainment Museum Contest, the Lookalike Industry's "Reel Award", and is approved by the Marilyn estate. Her professional experience as a Celebrity Look-Alike, actress, singer and voice-over talent has blossomed into a busy international career from movie sets, TV stages and live theater to high profile corporate and private events. Holly performs as Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham) from the Austin Powers' Film "The Spy Who Shagged Me", and on occasion, Liz Taylor, Bette Davis, Carole Lombard, and Marlene Dietrich.
We hired Holly for our corporate event as Madonna. She was amazing! Pre-event planning was super easy & smooth. She did a great job entertaining our guests at our event. Thank you, Holly!
Holly made our event special!
They were awesome. Had a lot of laughs. A lot of photo op moments. They looked stunning and killed it.
It's as if Marilyn stepped right out of 1956 and straight into my living room -- very professional, unique and brilliant...
My sister, brother and I hired Holly to help us celebrate our dad's 90th birthday on June 30th in a private room at Beckam's Grill in Pasadena, CA.. What a show! Holly wasn't there that night, but Marilyn Monroe was. She was beautiful, funny, witty AND a great singer. My dad loved it and everyone at the party (31 of us) were soooo impressed and very happy to get our photos taken with her. It was so fun to actually get to talk to Marylin Monroe.....not once did Holly drop the Marylin persona. Holly is a great entertainer. She's very professional and fun to work with. If you invite her to do your next special event, you won't be sorry!
Holly was the hit of the dinner concert event on the Central Coast of CA! Her look, dress, hair, body language, voice, and even her sense of humor was oh so wonderfully Marilyn Monroe. She was beautiful and charming as she sang and riffed comedy with the audience on stage. Then she mingled with the dinner crowd to the delight of all. She even did some swing dancing with some lucky guys. Nobody wanted to leave without getting their picture taken with her, including an older gentlemen who had met the real Marilyn! When you can impress someone who has seen the real thing, that is something. Thank you Holly for making the evening extra special. It would not have been the same without you.
Holly won the lead role for a cable tv pilot episode I shot. It was a very demanding role with little rehearsal time available. Holly was a stone-cold pro in taking direction and exchanging ideas. Her dedication and range were impressive and very easy to work with. Her talent as an impersonator belies a much deeper acting talent. Every director should be so lucky to work with actors like Holly.
I am an author who had been an actor until the early 1960's. Marilyn Monroe was a friend, our sporadic acquaintanceship spanned the years from 1953 (when I first met Marilyn) until 1960 when we were to have starred in a film together, THE STRIPPER, at 20th Century Fox studios. I have authored a book of memoirs about Marilyn, INSIDE MARILYN MONROE, published in 2007, based on my relationship with her. I have been a keynote speaker at a number of Memorials for Marilyn, and met Holly Beavon at a fan-based get-together celebrating Marilyn's birthday. Over the years I have encountered a number of Marilyn impersonators, and has never overly impressed. I found there was something usually missing in the individuals (apart from the blonde wigs and 'Marilyn-like' dresses). What I found lacking was a sort of internal energy--something radiating from the individual apart from the surface glamor. Holly Beavon possessed this energy. It was as though once again, after all the years, I was experiencing Marilyn. It is a feeling that far transcends the surface energy and mannerisms presented by others attempting to portray Marilyn. Holly and I posed for a photograph present at the party, and he asked that we kiss. It was a strange moment--for those few seconds, it was as though at least 47 years dissolved.
Holly Bevon as Madonna was AMAZING!! She looked and sounded just like MADONNA! WOW! Her Madonna look bought tears to my eyes. Extrodinary, sweet and brought the house down at my 40th birthday party. She was loved by all that night! She made my party a success! Thank you Holly Bevon or better known as MADONNA!
