Your henna could be a completely custom request or Sophie can free-hand a meaningful design for you in minutes. All of her work is blessed with love and good intentions. When I get henna, she gives me a specific healing henna as she knows I struggle with my health. Sophie is an extremely talented, thoughtful & knowledgeable artist as well as a beautiful soul. You will always feel special and loved in her presence. Henna can be done for a wide variety of occasions such as birthdays, corporate events, school fundraisers, bridal or bachelorette parties, and even baby showers! Sophie is a professional henna artist and founder of Henna Chakra, providing natural henna services for events, schools, and organizations. She delivers clean, modern designs with efficient guest flow and reliable event management.
Henna is a natural dye derived from a plant. The leaves of the henna plant are dried and sifted into a fine powder. I mix the henna powder with lemon juice, cajeput and lavender essential oil to create a dark-staining paste. I never use "black henna" which is usually henna mixed with black hair dye. It can cause serious reactions and scarring in up to 15% of people that use it. I also never use store bought or pre mixed, imported henna cones as they contains dyes and chemicals.
I am available for individual appointments, bridal henna, parties, festivals, fairs, corporate events, and conferences.
