What to expect

I understand the stress that event planners face. I aim to be a refreshing presence and the least demanding addition to your schedule. Beyond my experience, three outcomes should follow after my talk:

1. Audience members should gain valuable insights (at least 3 actionable tips to enhance their communication skills).
2. You should receive excellent feedback.
3. They should be eager for more.

When you join one of my keynotes or invite me to speak, it's not just another lecture—it's a dynamic, interactive experience crafted for up-and-coming corporate leaders. Here's what you can anticipate:

I'm a seasoned corporate speaker, business storyteller, and emotional intelligence practitioner with a decade of experience as an audience warm-up act. I bring contagious energy to the room, getting audiences cheering and engaged. Yet, I also exude a professional air of composure, aiding leaders at all levels in finding their voices and connecting with even the most challenging colleagues and listeners. It's an exhilarating journey filled with knowledge, anecdotes, real-world stories, and practical insights that immediately enhance communication skills. Audiences are captivated from beginning to end.

We'll have a brief discovery call to pinpoint your priorities, ensuring that my delivery is tailored to the unique needs and focus of the audience you entrust to me.

About

Having spoken on the TEDx stage, led 250+ empowerment assemblies, and coached hundreds of fortune 500 leaders, Jarrod Uddin is affectionately known as the "Presentation Expert". He excels in mentoring up-and-coming corporate executives, enhancing their communication skills, particularly in high-stakes situations where outcomes hold significant importance.

Additional booking notes

When it comes to the technical aspects of my performances, you’ll find that I am incredibly low maintenance, allowing you to focus on the larger agenda. For in-person engagements, my ideal setup involves a handheld microphone—either wired or wireless. A lapel microphone can serve as a suitable backup option. I kindly request access to the venue 30–60 minutes in advance to test the sound and ensure everything runs smoothly.
If visuals are part of the presentation, I can either bring my own MacBook and clicker or send the materials in advance for your convenience. For virtual speaking engagements, having access to the Zoom, WebEx, or Teams link beforehand would be greatly appreciated. My minimal requirements will ensure a seamless experience, allowing us to focus on delivering memorable content together.

Influences and inspiration

I have been fortunate to learn from various experiences and expert coaches who have shaped my speaking and coaching approach. Here are a few highlights:

- Executive Communication Coach: Previously with Mandel Communications and now with a private firm, I've had the honor of coaching over 250 Fortune 500 leaders in crafting and delivering crucial communications for high-stakes scenarios like employee strikes, crisis management, speaking engagements at events like CES and major conferences, congressional hearings, and more.

- TEDx Orlando 2013 Small Talks: Engaged as an audience presenter.

- The International Women's Success Conference and Tour (2012 - Present): Involved as a presenter, emcee, and audience warm-up act, I've delivered over 60 presentations to audiences ranging from 500 to 1000 entrepreneurs and executives in the entertainment, finance, and consumer goods leadership sectors.

- TEDx Dallas (2023): Served as a speaker coach for presenters, as well as coaching other speaker coaches. I've had the privilege of guiding several stage presenters in sharpening their messages, storytelling, and delivery, while also training the other coaches responsible for preparing the rest of the speaker lineup.

- The International Auto Show ((phone number hidden)7): Worked as a narrator and product specialist, delivering dynamic product presentations to audiences of 50 to 500, with some presentations broadcasted live on television.

Setup requirements

A handheld (wired or wireless) or lavalier microphone. I do not require a podium, however if you have one I would prefer that it be set off to a far side of the stage so that I am free to occupy center-stage.
