HeartSong is comprised of Karl and Darcy Blankenhorn. Their love for each other and for Southern Gospel music joined them to form a much requested duet.
Darcy fondly claims,”God’s music has always been my heartsong” (hence the name) .Darcy sings the lead or high part as each song requires and has been said, by her peers, she has one of the most unique Southern Gospel voices in the business.
Her husband, Karl, although on the road (a lot of the time driving semi-truck) has managed to sharpen his quartet bass voice into a range that beautifully compliments the duet. His voice matched only by his endless pranks and comedic presence, rounds out the duet known as HeartSong.

Although we never come to entertain you -we always do ,but nature.We love to laugh and have a joyous time baring no holds on those we coerce to help (often the Pastor). We absolutely LOVE the fellowship ,kindred spirits and like mindedness of all those we are invited to worship with.We are still each others best friends and will soon celebrate 48 years in the covenant we call marriage.God has always been faithful in fulfilling all our (link hidden) ,when you think of inviting HeartSong to your worship or event -plan to ,be loved,to laugh ,to cry and reap the blessings of a God centered ministry .
HeartSong formerly were 2 parts of a (mixed) Southern Gospel Quartet known as ,"Two by Two".They traveled most of the Eastern Us and as far west as Iowa,for 26 years.When one of the members began to show signs of developing Alzheimer's ,they partially retired the quartet and began to often go as a "branch"- known as HeartSong. As most know the disease advances .A difficult decision was made in 2009 to retire the quartet ,completely ,and continue on as a duet known as HeartSong.
HeartSong is fully equipped with their own sound system(s) and do not require (link hidden)ould you choose to use your house sound we can do that as well as long as there is a source for ipad hookup.
HeartSong has been influenced by many (link hidden)ey often draw their selection after meeting their audience and trusting the Holy Spirit to lead the (link hidden)nversations before hand are always cherished to hear the heart of their audience.You may find them singing for groups such as the Gaithers,the Easters,Booth brothers,Greater vision and many more too numerous to (link hidden) any rate they will surely have something to touch all hearts.
