Harp to Harp

We are professional musicians (offering packages with: Flute, Violin, Trumpet, Harp(s)) performing a wide variety of radio ready music to the classics. Our professionalism is to arrive thirty minutes prior to the time of the event, dressed to the occasion as designated by the client and have all information of date and time in writing with a signed agreement from the client along with a required deposit to hold the date/time of the performance. A full payment is due no later than two weeks prior to the event. All of the above is required prior to the date of the performance.

We also provide for weddings, a personal live consultation to select music (no later than four weeks, if possible) either scheduled by phone or in-person. This is free under our wedding packages: (link hidden) (select: wedding/packages)

DENISE FINK, HARPIST
Denise Fink graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 1991 with a Professional Studies Diploma and a Master of Music Degree in Harp Performance under the instruction of Grammy Winner Alice Chalifoux. Denise also received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Northern Iowa under the instruction of Mary Beckman. Both of these teachers were students who studied under the legendary Carlos Salzedo who with his colleague, Marcel Grandjany, reformed and brought the harp to the current technique taught to harpists today. In addition to these teachers, Denise Fink also studied in a Master Class with Harpo Marx’s teacher, Mildred Dilling. After graduating in 1991, she founded the harp department at the Fine Arts Association in Willoughby, Ohio where she taught over 30 students until 2004. In developing the department, Denise was able to acquire for the Harp department (through a grant from the Kulas Foundation), two large pedal harps and two troubadour harps. Denise has performed under the batons of many conductors including: Pierre Boulez, Louis Lane, Carl Topilow, Stephen Sulich, Joseph Guinta and Evan Wallon. Denise has also performed for The Cleveland Suburban Symphony (Premiered “Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Oratorio”), The Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra’s Star in the Wings, Ohio Light Opera, The Cleveland Institute of Music. She currently is releasing her third album (LOVE…..Harp to Heart) this year with legendary Executive Producer/Past VP of A&M Records, Shelly Yakus from AftermasterHD studios in Hollywood, California. She recently appeared on Live radio and television covering the Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas areas. She is currently a private harp instructor and freelance harpist.

Lighting: stand lights provided, but recommend light to perform instrument(s)
Stage: recommend 4x5 area for each musician
Sound System: (Optional) Free of charge with our performances. We provide a BOSE compact tower with two mic outputs. Other technical equipment discussed with Sound Engineer prior to the event.

Note: It is recommended that a wooden floor provides the best acoustics.
